Biographical Information:
After a dramatic escape from the womb, and a year or two of general education, Miles showed his first interest in music by drumming on everything he could reach. All the music teachers in all the land said he was too young to learn the ways of the drum master, but Miles was not disheartened. He endured two years of piano lessons before the drum masters took him in. He studied hard and journeyed for many years before he met a friendly knight who told him tales of the legendary guitar warriors. Eager to become one of them, Miles studied alone for long hours, shedding many a drop of perspiration in his efforts. After much practice, he felt ready to try his hand at writing a song of his own. After a few unfortunate attempts, he teamed up with childhood friend Grant Bielefeld. After a few successes, they realized that two warriors alone could not envelope the villagers with song. Miles and Grant called upon the friendly knight and drum Master Douglas to join them in their efforts. Thus, Saluting the Rockies was born! But soon after, problems arose and the friendly knight, who had served the group so well, needed to return to his homeland. In need of a fourth member, the group called upon Sir Aaron Tanning to become the permanent lead guitar warrior for Saluting the Rockies, which he graciously accepted. The foursome henceforth took up their tools and instruments, found a horse, a donkey, a cow, and a midget, and rode off into the sunset.
